The Viberg Rawhide Waxy Commander Service Boot is a beautiful pair that will serve you well in both rugged environments and cityscapes. This leather from C.F. Stead is a heavy waxed suede leather that is very durable and water-resistant. The leather has a slight pull-up characteristic and a ton of variation and character. This is an excellent pair if you're looking to mix up your usual smooth leather with something more rugged.
This pair is built on Viberg's semi-anatomical 2040 last, which has an E-width toebox, a narrow waist, and narrow heel. However, due to the anatomical features, the narrowness of the pair may not affect you, and may actually feel better as it bends with your feet.
Please note that these boots are boxed in a brown Viberg cardboard box and do not include their usual black Viberg boot box. See the last photo for the brown boot box (we will ship this box inside another box to keep the Viberg box secure).
The Service Boot is based off their original model, first produced in 1931, and ultimately became a standard pattern and style for many countries during WWII as their standard issue military boot.
