TCB Stay Gold Chinos are one of the more personal pieces from TCB's collection of vintage-era reproductions and inspired clothing. TCB owner, Inoue Hajime, designed the Stay Gold Chinos as a reproduction of the chinos worn by one of this favorite actors from a Japanese TV series called Wakamono no subete (All about youngster) from the 1990s. These 10oz chinos feature chainstitch on both the upper and bottom waist band, a slightly looser pocket opening for a vintage vibe, and an "Eastern Costume" tag on the waistband, a riff off the "Western Costume" tags seen on vintage costume pieces for movies back in the day. The Stay Gold Chinos have a high rise and relatively roomy fit through the legs.
Note: These are one-washed to remove most shrinkage. These generally run TTS for a comfortable fit on the waist. We recommend taking your typical Americna brand size that you wear. As always, please double check our posted measurements on our Size Chart tab to confirm sizing.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs wearing size 32 for a fit on the waist that is not too tight, but not too loose - just about right (if anything, slightly loose), with a generous/roomy fit through the legs.
