The TCB S40s Jeans in Double Black Denim are a reproduction of late 1940s WWII-era jeans, made from a 14oz fabric woven with black warp and weft yarns that will gradually fade to grey. The fit is a regular straight cut with a medium to high rise that should work well for most body types. True to the vintage pieces that inspired them, these jeans carry subtle quirks and imperfections that reflect the realities of wartime production.
Please note that like most of TCB's denim, these have a significant leg twist; if this type of thing bothers you we would recommend looking at other denim.
Note: These are one-washed to remove most shrinkage. These generally run TTS for a snug/slim fit in the waist, and will stretch with wear. We recommend taking your typical size that you wear in other Japanese brands, or if you have the TCB 50s or S40s Jeans, you can take the same size. As always, please double check our posted measurements on our Size Chart tab to confirm sizing.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs (currently closer to 165 lbs) wearing size 32 for a snug fit in the waist and generous room throughout the legs.
