The TCB New Cats Drive Jacket returns after a several-year hiatus. The Cats Drive Jacket is based off the late 1940s Lee Storm Rider Jacket, but with the interior lining removed in this model for an all-season jacket. Some details have proven faithful to the original Storm Rider, such as their exact replica of the denim piping (stitching) width along the hem, while other details were slightly altered such as the use of the left-hand twill fabric. New for this run of the "New" Cats Drive Jacket is their fabric, a premium "EMOT" cotton blend sourced from East Memphis, New Orleans, and Texas, and custom-engineered uniform 6-count warp and weft yarns. By spinning longer slub irregularities into the yarn, the fabric gains an intentionally uneven surface that physically forces the denim to produce the incredibly long, dramatic vertical fading streaks that vintage left-hand twills are prized for.
Note: Generally runs small. We recommend taking at least one size, if not two sizes up from your typical American brand size. Note that the Cats Drive Jacket is cut with a roomier fit through the arms.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs, wearing size 42 | XL for a comfortable fit that allows for layering underneath and a good length.
