TCB New 50's Jacket is their reproduction of a classic Levi's Type 2 Denim Jacket. Using a medium weight 13.5oz Zimbabwe cotton fabric, this custom woven TCB fabric has an irregular texture and a slight nep, which will lead to beautiful vertical fades with time. The paper patch gives it an authentic vintage feel, that will ultimately break down and reveal the dark indigo denim underneath it.
The "New" 50's Jacket has a slightly modified fit compared to their original 50's jacket. Please see our Size Chart for the latest measurements.
Note: This jacket has been one-washed to remove most shrinkage. Because of how the TCB 50's Jacket is constructed with the front pleats, the chest measurements are actually smaller than what the jacket can truly accommodate. In other words, the posted chest measurements could be increased by 1-2" as the pleats will allow the chest to expand if needed. As a result, we generally recommend sizing up one from your typical American brand size for a slim fit, or take two sizes up for a slightly roomier fit with room to layer underneath (heavier sweaters, sweatshirts, hoodies, etc).
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs (currently closer to 165 lbs) wearing size 42 | XL for a comfortable fit, neither too slim nor too relaxed, and with room to layer underneath. At 175 lbs, model would likely still wear 42 | XL, but the jacket would fit much more slim and snug and minimal layering (just a t-shirt).
