The TCB Late S40s Jeans in a Double Black Denim are a reproduction of late 1940s WWII-era jeans, with its flannel pockets being one of the unique markers of this style. These feature a regular straight cut, with a medium-to-high rise that should accommodate most body types. Much like some of the vintage pieces found by TCB, these have some subtle quirks and imperfections that give a nod towards the wartime realities. This double black (black warp, black weft) 14oz denim is produced using a blend of American cotton will fade to gray with time.
Please note that like most of TCB's denim, these have a significant leg twist; if this type of thing bothers you we would recommend looking at other denim.
Note: These are one-washed to remove most shrinkage. These generally run TTS for a snug/slim fit in the waist, and will stretch with wear. We recommend taking your typical size that you wear in other Japanese brands, or if you have the TCB 50s or S40s Jeans, you can take the same size. As always, please double check our posted measurements on our Size Chart tab to confirm sizing.
