The TCB Late S40s Jeans in a 13.5oz Indigo Denim are a reproduction of late 1940s WWII-era jeans, with its flannel pockets being one of the unique markers of this style. These feature a regular straight cut, with a medium-to-high rise that should accommodate most body types. Much like some of the vintage pieces found by TCB, these have some subtle quirks and imperfections that give a nod towards the wartime realities. Much like the denim of that period, the thickness of the yarns are varied (with intention here) to produce an irregular denim fabric through the use of four different yarns for this one denim.
Please note that like most of TCB's denim, these have a significant leg twist; if this type of thing bothers you we would recommend looking at other denim.
Note: These are one-washed to remove most shrinkage. These generally run TTS for a snug/slim fit in the waist, and will stretch with wear. We recommend taking your typical size that you wear in other Japanese brands, or if you have the TCB 50s or S40s Jeans, you can take the same size.
