Studio D'Artisan's SD-412 Type II Selvedge Denim Jacket is made with their classic 15oz selvedge denim that is used across their line of denim cuts, and in several jacket styles. This Type II jacket has a firm hand with a dark indigo color, that will gradually fade to produce beautiful fades unique to each wearer. The jacket features classic Type II details such as the two front chest pockets in a boxy and slightly cropped fit, with side waist adjusters for a custom fit.
SD-412 / SD-412W: Please note that for 2026, SDA has started annotating the "W" on their jackets produced for the worldwide markets (excluding Japan). Please note the slight difference in the sizing / size chart. Also notable is the change in leather patch (see last photo, the new "W" version is the bottom jacket with Mt. Fuji in the center).
Note: Generally runs small, recommend taking at least one size up, depending on if you are on the smaller end of your size or not. If you are on the smaller end of your size and prefer a slim fit, it's possible you can take your typical American brand size. Otherwise, most folks should size up at least one.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs, wearing size 40 | L for a comfortable fit, neither too slim nor too relaxed. Model is generally on the smaller side of his weight/build, so the size 40 fits just fine with ample room throughout.
