Railcar for Withered Fig. The ever-popular Railcar Fine Good's Flight Trouser with all the standard fit and details that you've come to know, but now in a quite-black denim. This exclusive Flight Trouser comes in a 13.75 oz double black fabric with a very subtle sheen, and a black weft that should keep the overall look of this simply, quite-black. Flat-felled inseams and outseams keep this pair completely black even when cuffed.
A custom leather patch - designed by Richard's wife - pays homage to both Railcar and Withered Fig with a "for the people, by the people" motto in the upper left of the patch. This phrase represents our belief that we - as owners of Withered Fig - are just your average person that happens to sell some denim and other well-made goods. These were built by Railcar in collaboration with us, not to make a huge profit, but to provide one of our favorite pairs of pants - the Flight Trousers - in a solid double black denim that we've been missing in our portfolio. Functional and good looking, this was made for the people, by the people.
Note: Generally runs TTS with the waist being a little more accomodating. If you are slim, you may be able to size down one from your typical pants size, for a very slim fit (may be tight through thighs and waist) but can stretch about 0.25" laid flat (0.50" total in circumference). Otherwise, take your TTS for a slim but comfortable fit. Cold wash and hang-dry for minimal shrinkage.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs, with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 32 for a slim but comfortable fit with the waist a little large.
