orSlow New Yorker Pants are just one of those things that you didn't know you loved until you wore it. These are cut with a generous top block for a roomy and spacious fit, but feature a strong taper through the legs - a distinct cut that we've yet to find anywhere else. The elastic waist band and drawstring makes this super easy to wear. This Brown Stretch Corduroy has a medium weight to it and with the corduroy facing, can easily be dressed up for a more sophisticated look.
Note: Due to the roomy top block and elastic waistband, most folks can probably size down for a slimmer fit, which means most will also have a couple options as far as sizing and how you want it to fit. Our measurements for the New Yorker Pants' waist are taken with the elastic band pulled taut (maximum width). At rest, due to the elastic band, the waist will measure approximately 2.5-3" smaller. If you own the orSlow Slim Fit Fatigue Pants, you can take another size down for a similar fit (e.g. if you wear size 3 in the Slim Fit Fatigue Pants, take size 2 in the New Yorker for a similar fit in the waist, although still much roomier in the top block). Note that as you go down in size, the leg opening and overall inseam length get smaller. Recommend machine wash cold, hang dry.
Another way to approach sizing is translating as follows:
1 | S - 30 Waist 2 | M - 32 Waist 3 | L - 34 Waist 4 | XL - 36 Waist 5 | XXL - 38 Waist
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs (currently closer to 165 lbs), with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 2 for a comfortable fit in both the waist and through the legs. Model can also wear size 1 for an even slimmer fit, but will be a bit tighter in the waist (but still okay) and a little more restrictive through the legs, especially when bending. See model in size 1 in the Light Grey Strech Corduroy.
