The Omoto Denim 13.5oz Selvedge Loose Fit Denim in Charcoal features their custom-woven 13.5oz medium weight fabric that has been given a sumizome overdye using Binchō-tan white charcoal to produce this dark indigo, gray-cast denim. This 0815 denim comes in their wide fit through the whole silhouette, cut with a high rise, this pair has a loose and wide fit through the whole silhouette, with a slight taper towards the bottom opening. Omoto includes many of details found on selvedge denim, to include hidden rivets and raised belt loops, along with selvedge IDs on the coin pockets.
Note: Due to the overdye treatment, most shrinkage has been removed. Due to their even-number only sizing, you may not necessarily get an exact fit as you would in other brands. These generally run TTS and we recommend taking your typical Japanese brand size, or size down/up accordingly if you prefer a snugger fit or looser fit. In general, with careful washing (machine wash cold/warm and hang-dry, you should experience no further shrinkage).
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 32 for a relaxed and loose fit, but with an excellent fit on the waist. Waist will likely loosen up a bit with wear, but generally the size 32 is the right size.
