The Merz b. Schwanen Merino Wool Ribbed Pullover in Dark Navy is a reimagined take on their classic fleece sweatshirts that offer a sporty and versatile sweater staple to your closet. Featuring a fine-knit gauge of 100% merino wool, this sweatshirt adds a touch of refinement to the typical mid-century sporting sweatshirt. These do have a dense hand, but stretch easily to accommodate a wider range of fits.
The added neckline v-stitch, ribbed cuff structures, and underarm gusset takes direct inspiration from 1920s wool sporting garments and adds practicality to your fit. Whether you dress it up to the office, a date night, or wearing casually this garment is guaranteed to keep you warm and comfortable through any situation.
Note: These MWCC01 Ribbed Pullovers come in Merz's Relaxed Fit. However, we find these to generally be still pretty slim fitting on the body. Accordingly, if you are on the smaller end of your size or prefer a slim fit, you can take your typical American brand size. However, if you are on the larger end of your size or prefer a more comfortable / slightly relaxed fit, take one size up.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs wearing size 5 | M (his TTS) for a comfortable fit. At model's typical 175 lbs weight, the size 5 | M would still be comfortable due to the stretch, but would naturally be a bit more slim all around.
