The Maru Sankaku Peke Garment Dyed Sweatshirt in Navy is made of a heavyweight fleece that has been garment dyed and heavily distressed to look like an old favorite passed down through generations. It features classic functional details such as the double V-gusset on the front and back, side gussets to help you get the sweatshirt on-and-off while maintaining the overall shape, and a front kangaroo pocket. The garment dying process creates a gradient finish where the color is more saturated at towards the hem and more faded towards the top. The result is a truly unique piece with a bit of wabi sabi feel throughout.
Because of the hand-distressing to create the vintage / aged appearance, the sweatshirt has holes and fraying in various areas. Please note these are intended and are not justification for a return if you decide it's not for you. If you aren't looking for a pre-distressed sweatshirt, please look elsewhere!
Note: Runs small. Most should take at least one size up from your typical tops size. Please double check measurements. These are one-washed so they should not shrink that much further, but if you use machine dry on high heat, or for prolonged periods you may experience additional shrinkage.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs (currently closer to 165 lbs), wearing size 40 | L (one size up from his TTS, M) for a comfortable fit, neither too slim nor too relaxed.
