Studio d'Artisan's Ishikawadai Tubular Jersey Henley T-Shirt in Yellow pays homage to the tees first produced by Ishikawa Seisakujo in the 1950s. These tees are made of cotton spun on old Japanese ring-spinning machines, which are the oldest of their kind still operating today. Compared to more modern ring-spinning machines, these operate at a significantly slower speed and exerts minimal stress on the cotton fibers. The result is a natural uneven texture similar to what you'd get from hand-spun cotton.
Note: Generally runs small, recommend taking at least one size up from your typical American brand size. These t-shirts are cut with an accommodating classic fit - neither too slim nor too relaxed.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs (currently closer to 165 lbs), wearing size 40 | L for a comfortable fit, neither too slim nor too relaxed.
