Iron Heart's Heavyweight Thermal Crew Neck Sweater in Grey takes their familiar IHTL-1700 long sleeve thermal, but remixes it to a crewneck sweater. It’s made from a heavy 100% cotton waffle knit with a loose construction that gives the fabric plenty of texture and weight. Despite the heavier feel, it remains breathable and soft against the skin, making it easy to wear on its own or as a layer. A ribbed hem, cuffs, and crew neck trim finishes off the garment to reflect a classic sweater. The seams are finished with four-needle flat-stitching for a durable construction that can stand up to regular wear.
Note: These run small, recommend taking one size up from your typical American tops size (or the same size as you would in your Iron Heart IHSH flannels) for a comfortable sweater fit. You can also take your typical tops size if you prefer to wear this as a base underlayer, or if you are on the smaller end of your size. The fabric will generally stretch in areas of tension.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs (currently closer to 165 lbs) wearing size M (one down from his typical Iron Heart tops size) for a slim fit, something more akin to a thermal and not a sweater fit. Model can also wear size L for a more comfortable fit, which would also be a better fit for a traditional "sweater" fit. See model wearing size L in the Heavyweight Thermal Crew Neck Sweater in Black.
