An excellent alternative to a classic buffalo check is the Ombré Check Western Shirt Flannel in this bold red/black colorway. These are made from the same 12oz Aspero cotton as Iron Heart's other Ultra Heavy Flannels. another classic in this Ultra Heavy Flannel Ombré Check Western Shirt. This IHSH-264-RED UHF will serve you well in the coldest of days, giving you better warmth and windproof capabilities than your average run of the mill flannel.
Note: These generally run on the small end. We recommend taking one size up from your typical American brand tops size for a comfortable yet still slim-fitting look. It is possible to take your typical American brand tops size if you are on the smaller end of your size, but it may run a tad snug in the chest/shoulders, and also might be short on the body. For folks with longer torsos, keep an eye on the overall length. Some customers may find their normal size too short, and thus opt to size up for an appropriate length. Cold wash, hang dry.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs. (currently closer to 165 lbs) wearing size L (one size up from TTS, M) for a comfortable fit in the chest/shoulders. Model can wear size M, but it is very snug/tight in the shoulders and upper chest. Additionally, the length is a tad shorter than model's preference. Model would prefer size L at 165 lbs, as well at 175 lbs.
