Note: Because Shell Cordovan already contains a high liquor content impregnated during the tanning process, avoid over-polishing or over-conditioning, as excess wax will attract dirt and scratch easily. Condition very occasionally with a specialized Shell Cordovan cream only to prevent cracking. To clean, wipe with a soft dry cloth; avoid soaking the leather, and always air dry naturally away from heat sources.
