Iron Heart's 18oz Vintage Selvedge Slim Tapered Denim is a standout in their lineup of heavyweight denim. Crafted with a robust 18oz denim from Shinya Mills, this pair embodies authentic vintage denim - slowly woven on old shuttle looms for those coveted vertical fades. These pairs have all the details and sturdiness of Iron Heart denim, but in a slightly lighter weight fabric.
Iron Heart's 777 cut has a low rise with a slim tapered cut from the knee to the cuff. Although with a lower rise, this cut is one of the more classic cuts in our opinion and will never go out of style - appropriate for youngin's all the way to the more mature folks who have to keep up that respectable demeanor (not that youngin's shouldn't be respectable).
Note: These are sanforized and one-washed, so expect little to no shrinkage. Denim will stretch about 1" in the waist after breaking in. For those who like slim fitting jeans, upon first wear the top button should be hard to button-up.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs (currently closer to 170 lbs), with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 33 for a slim fit throughout - the waist is snug, and the thighs are quite tight. In general, the Iron Heart 777 cut is not ideal for the model due to his larger thighs.
