This 19oz Left Hand Twill Type III Denim Jacket was made for the true denim jacket adventurer, one for the ages, and a piece that you could take to the grave. The IH-526L uses a significantly rigid and sturdy selvedge denim that will feel quite wonderful on the body, much like a cardboard box would. However, with time and dedication, like all denim, these will eventually give in and mold to you as you wear it. This 19oz "lefty" denim has all the characteristics needed to produce some incredible fades and whiskering. All it needs is a formidable wearer to take up the challenge.
July 2025 Restock: Please note this production run is unsanforized and unwashed and is therefore raw. See tabulated results from Iron Heart's shrinkage tests here. The shrinkage will depend on how hot and vigorously the jacket is washed. Expect approximately 1" to 1.5" shrinkage in the sleeve and body length, with all other dimensions shrinking proportionately. Measurements have been updated with this run.
Note: We generally recommend taking your typical Iron Heart tops size (usually one size up from your American brand size), especially given the unsanforized and raw state these jackets are in. Please check the shrinkage information above in determining your size. Sizes are tagged by numbers, with 36 corresponding to S, 38/M, 40/L, and so on.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs wearing size 40/L (one size up from his typical American brand size) for a roomy and comfortable fit. The jacket currently fits large and boxy, but should tighten up a tad with a soak/wash. Note that these model photos are currently from the previous run in 2023 and not the July 2025 restock.
