The Iron Heart "1955" Denim in a midweight 14oz Indigo Selvedge Denim with a vintage tapered cut. These are their take on the iconic Levi's 1955 501 pair, featuring a high rise and a roomy top block, with a gentle and respectable taper from the knees on down. These are a close cousin to the 888 cut, but with a slightly higher rise and slightly stronger taper. Much like their 21oz denim, this original medium-weight denim will produce similarly nice-looking fades with age and wear.
Note: These are sanforized and one-washed, so minimal shrinkage expected. Denim will stretch about 1" in the waist after breaking in.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs, with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 32 for a comfortable fit on the waist (neither too tight nor too relaxed, quite perfect).
