3sixteen for Withered Fig Crosscut Flannel in a Natural Indigo Slub Canvas, part of our exclusive Withered Fig 5 Year Anniversary Collection. As with many of our collaborations, we look for fabrics that exhibit the potential for long lasting wear and unique aging - this deep indigo-dyed shirt perfectly matches that aim. This Crosscut Flannel is custom woven with a very slubby texture from the get go, and which further increases (in slub/texture) with wear. The natural indigo will start fading immediately upon wear, and the slub highs will fade just a tad faster, giving it a hopefully very appealing speckled-high-lows fading over time. We worked with 3sixteen to create this special all-season shirt that easily doubles as an overshirt when you need an extra layer, or as a primary layer during the warmer months. Note: Generally runs TTS, on the slim side. We recommend either taking your typical 3sixteen (or other American brand) tops size for a slim fit if you are on the smaller to middle end of your size. If you are on the larger end of your size, you may consider sizing up one for additional room in the body and more length. Please double check measurements. These are pre-rinsed, so minimal shrinkage expected unless you put in machine dry.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs. wearing size M for a slim fit. Post-wash, the M fits even more slim, so model would primarily wear as a shirt (vice an overshirt with a heavier layer underneath). Model can also wear size L for more of a relaxed / overshirt fit.
