This Viberg Service Boot in a Black Teacore Chromexcel (CXL) is built on the Munson-based 2045 last, featuring a slight toe bump for a generous fitting pair, perfect for a wide range of feet, especially those who need more room. The Black CXL leather from Horween comes in their Teacore variation, allowing the brown undertones to peak through as it gets roughed, scuffed, and worn. Sitting on top of some Dr. Sole half soles and heels, these will be a versatile pair that will age beautifully through the years.
The Service Boot is based off their original model, first produced in 1931, and ultimately became a standard pattern and style for many countries during WWII as their standard issue military boot.
Sizing: For the Viberg 2045 Last Service Boot, we generally recommend sizing down 1 from your Brannock size; or taking the same size as you do in your 2030 and 1035 Service Boots. The 2045 Last is considered an EE width, but is an anatomical last, so while it may feel a bit snugger in some aspects (heel and waist), it should fit well even so.
