The Rite Stuff Uncle Sam Work Shirt in a Brushed Chamois Flannel in Olive Drab. Taking their work shirt silhouette, The Rite Stuff has paired it with a soft and velvety-hand chamois fabric, perfect for the cooler seasons. This Work Shirt is a close reproduction of the E-Z Reach Uncle Sam work shirts produced in 1937. This specific version features a pocketed model with a unique double-cigarette pocket as the stand-out detail on this vintage shirt. The double-cigarette pocket was meant to hold the cigarettes in the front, and additional items in the rear compartment, with the rear compartment (and item) acting as an extra layer to keep the cigarettes dry.
Sizing Notice: The Size (L) in this run came in at 22" chest, smaller than typical. Please double check size chart to make sure you can do the Large in 22". All of our Large in Olive Drab are ~22".
The Rite Stuff uses triple-stitched construction on the main seams, period-correct 1930s-style collar, and 1930s style, custom vegetable ivory (corozo) buttons.
Note: Generally runs TTS for a slim fit. We recommend taking your typical tops size in American brands for a slim fit; or if you own the Rite Stuff's Heracles or Atlas shirts, you can take the same size.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs, wearing size M for a slim fit, with decent room to move around in.
