The Omoto Ichimatsu Denim Shirt is their take on the classic denim shirt. Made in a beautiful 8oz "Ichimatsu" checkered pattern fabric, these will surely fade and evolve beautifully over time. The "Ichimatsu" checkered pattern is inspired from original fabrics during the 1600-1800s where the fabric was in kabuki theatre stage costumes, and has since proliferated into kimonos and other accessories.
Note: Generally runs TTS. We recommend taking your typical American brand size in these shirts for a modern fit. In general, we find Omoto Denim button-up shirts to be fairly roomy and are not a slim fit.
