The Merz b. Schwanen Rib Tank Top is the perfect undergarment for year-round wear, or a nice summer stunner for when the temperature get too hot. This Deep Black version is an all-black, 100% organic cotton, coming in a perfectly midweight 7.2oz ribbed cotton fabric. The tank is very slim and contoured to the body, but has ample stretch and will slightly loosen with wear.
This August 2025 production of the RIBTANK01 comes in a little smaller in all dimensions compared to the Spring '25 production. Please double check posted measurements. Additionally, the rib at the armhole is slightly larger, while the rib at the neckline is slightly thinner.
Note: The Ribbed Tank Top comes in their narrow fit, which closely hugs the body. We recommend taking your typical Merz Classic Fit size for a snug fit that is intended as a base layer; or if you are on the larger end of your size and/or prefer a more relaxed fit and not snug fit, take another size up. Although the chest measurements may look small, know that the ribbed fabric has a decent amount of give/stretch to it. If you prefer something just more relaxed and not as snug, size up accordingly.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs wearing size 6 | L for a slim and quite snug fit. The length comes in a little short, but works well as an undershirt/base layer. Model can also wear size 7 | XL for something that isn't so snug, and still work perfectly fine as a base layer. Note that the tank does loosen up a bit over time with wear/washes.
