The Rite Stuff Oilman 7.7oz Chino Twill Work Pants in Black is inspired from early 20th century chinos, the standard issue pair of trousers for those doing any sort of work in the field. These workwear chinos are patterned after the Daybreak Work Pants, a high-rise pair with a relaxed straight fit through the legs. The Oilmans feature a 7.7oz Japanese-milled chino twill, just light enough to get by for the warmer weather, but heavy enough to transition into the Fall.
Note: Generally runs large. We recommend sizing down from your typical tops size, especially if you have a slim waist or are on the smaller end of your size (i.e. if you generally wear Medium in American brand shirts, consider your "typical" size a M here, and thus size down to a Small). These are one-washed, so expect no shrinkage. As always, please double check measurements to confirm sizing.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs wearing size S for a good fit on the waist and a relaxed fit through the legs. Given that model's waistline is fairly slim and the higher rise on these pairs, sizing down to a size S works well. The size M in this pair is too loose in the waist for the model.
