The Studio D'Artisan 1907 Kasezome Indigo Sashiko Regular Straight Pants is cut from a dense and sturdy 14oz selvedge sashiko fabric, using deep kase‑dyed indigo threads in both warp and weft for a rich, saturated tone. Notable is the use of selvedge, which has become quite rare when it comes to sashiko fabrics. The surface of the fabric features the deepest indigo threads, with the inner cores also penetrated due to the meticulous and time-consuming hank-dyeing process. To faithfully reproduce the unique texture and thickness of Sashiko, they have maximized the weaving density. The silhouette is a regular straight fit.
Note: These Sashiko pants have a medium-to-high rise and generally run TTS; if you are on the smaller end of your size or have a slim waistline, we recommend taking your typical Japanese denim size. Or, if you are on the larger end of your size or have a larger waistline, recommend taking a size up. These are one-washed, expect minimal shrinkage.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs (currently closer to 165 lbs), with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 32 for a snug fit on the waist and a comfortable straight-fit through the legs.
