The Flat Head's FN-OJ-D101C is their original 14.5oz left-hand twill denim, cut in a 1940s-inspired Type I denim jacket style, and given a thorough custom wash, manually hand-distressed marks, and a sun-tanned treatment to bring out some of the unique colors for a real-aged look. Using one of their flagship medium-weight denim, made from extra-long staple Zimbabwean cotton, these have a durable yet soft hand, offering comfort along with style. Selvedge detailing abounds throughout, and vintage-inspired metal buttons and rivets for an aged appearance.
Note: Real aging means real aging. You'll notice areas of intentional distressing, which includes what looks like stain in some areas of the jacket (see last two detail shots for what that looks like). The Flat Head has given you a head start on breaking it in and asks you to wear this jacket hard and add a few more stains of your own.
Note: The Flat Head FN-OJ-D002 jacket runs small. We recommend sizing up at least one or two sizes from your typical American brand tops size. These are once-washed, so minimal shrinkage is expected. However, on high heat and extensive machine dry, you may experience additional shrinkage.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs wearing size 42 | XL for a somewhat slim fit. The length is decent on the 42 | XL and there is some room, but perhaps not much for additional layering.
