The Fitted Underground W17 Copperhead Akasabi Selvedge Denim is a high-rise straight-leg pair, featuring a dark indigo warp and a copperhead weft.
Eric, owner of Fitted Underground, spares no details on his garments, with custom made waistband and fly buttons, heavyweight leather patches, and silk screened front pockets and waistbands, all of which feature homages to Brooklyn, New York.
Note: As these have a high rise and wide fit, we find these to generally run 1/2 to 1 size large. If you are on the slimmer end of your size or have a slim waistline, due to the high rise, you may want to size down one from your typical Japanese denim size. If you have a larger waistline or are on the larger end of your size, you can probably take the same size as you do in other Japanese denim for a comfortable fit. Please double check the posted measurements. These are sanforized, but not pre-rinsed. Expect minimal shrinkage with cold wash and hang dry. Any shrinkage with cold wash and hang dry should come back out (stretch) with wear.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs, wearing size 32 for a loose fit on the waist and a roomy fit through the legs. Due to model's slim waistline, taking a size down (31) is a much better fit while still maintaining the roomy wide-straight fit through the legs.
