The Merz b. Schwanen 1920s Wool-Cotton Worker Chinos are cut with a similar fit as their standard CHINO01 pairs, but with a wool-cotton blend that feels much like a pair of dress pants / trousers. With its ironed center creases to add a bit of refinement, these chinos are otherwise an appropriately named pair, a solid pair for every day work in the office. These chinos feature a high rise and a very spacious top block, a wide fit through the legs and a slightly cropped length.
Note: These generally run large due to the wide cut and fit. We recommend double checking the size chart first and foremost, but generally you should either be able to take your typical American brand size, or even size down one.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs, with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 4 | S, which is one down from his typical American brand size of Medium. The fit on the size 4 | S is snug in the waist, very spacious/roomy in the top block, and wide through the legs (although there is a nice taper through the legs). As reference, Model does have a slim waistline for his weight, and typically wears size 6 | L in most Merz t-shirts and henleys, and size 32 in most Japanese denim).
