This dark brown pair of Viberg Service Boots featuring Maryam's Col. 1071 Horsehide sits on a double-leather sole with a Dr. Sole Raw Cord Heel. With a fully lined interior and French binding for a slightly fancier look, yet with a washed horsehide the balance is a nice tweener between a dress boot and an elegant dark brown pair. The washed horsehide has a slight sheen to the leather, one that will certainly look better with wear and conditions. This horsehide leather has a decent amount of natural variation and some light scarring, so for those who prefer a more consistent leather, you may want to look elsewhere.
The washed horsehide gives this Service Boot an immediate comfort and ease of wear. While non-washed horsehide and rumps can be a bit tough and stiff at first, this pair is completely opposite and much like kangaroo leather - a lightweight feel that is soft and malleable.
