The Omoto Denim Recycled Nep Relaxed Fit Denim in a 16oz medium-weight fabric that feels much more soft and airy than the weight may indicate. This denim is woven on Toyoda GL8 looms from the 1950s that weave at a slow pace, resulting in more air trapped within the fabric for a textured and uneven hand. The pair features original Omoto-branded sheep leather patch, hidden rivets and raised belt loops, and a herringbone pocket bag with a record keeping design.
Note: These are unsanforized but come from their factory with a pre-wash and sun-dried to remove most of the initial shrinkage. Due to their even-number only sizing, you may not necessarily get an exact fit as you would in other brands. These generally run TTS and we recommend taking your typical Japanese brand size, or size down/up accordingly if you prefer a snugger fit or looser fit. In general, with careful washing (machine wash cold/warm and hang-dry, you should experience no further shrinkage).
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 32 for a slightly loose fit on the waist, and a comfortable relaxed fit through the legs.
