The Barnstormer 1958DF Dress Fatigues in Olive are a slight twist on their standard trousers. Rather than a standard chino cloth, this is cut in an olive herringbone twill fabric, and with notable fatigue-like patch pockets on the front. A blend of fatigue pants and a dress trouser, perfect for that transition or balance of dress and workwear. These come in a higher rise and with a slight taper through the legs.
Note: The Barnstormer 1958DF comes in their American fit, which is a fuller cut in the top block and roomier fit through their legs, relative to their Japan fit. Accordingly, these generally run slightly large, and due to the higher rise, it may not be uncommon for you to take a size or two down from your typical pants size. Please double check measurements. These are cut with a high rise, roomy top block - due to the pleats - with a modest straight fit through the legs (slight taper). These are one-washed so you should expect minimal shrinkage going forward. Cold wash and hang-dry.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing sizes 31 and 30 (first photos are 31, last four photos are 30. Model fits in size 30 slightly better, as he has a slim waistline at the higher rise location of these pants. The size 30 fits snugly on the waist, and is model's preference for these slightly tailored pants. For the size 31, the waist is slightly loose, so model would wear it with a belt.
