Due to the higher rise on these Vintage Fit Fatigue Pants, it's possible you can size down from your typical Fatigue Pants size if you have a slimmer waistline. These have adjustable tabs to tighten (cinch) the waist by up to 1\" (when laid flat), or 2\" in overall circumference. The fabric does stretch a little over time by 0.5\" when laid flat, so you can try to take that into account if you'd like, or just use the button tabs to tighten up as needed.
