Merz b. Schwanen's 1950s in Aqua is part of their core knits and features a lightweight 1-thread 100% pure organic cotton fabric. The tee comes in their Classic Fit, which runs slim throughout. The 1950s tee has a rounded crew neckline and a triangle insert under the armpit for maximum comfort. Made on original loopwheelers in Germany - one of two remaining loopwheeler operations in the world, the result is a seamless tubular fabric that will be your softest and most comfortable tee. Shown here with the Railcar Fine Goods Duck Canvas Flight Trousers.
See model photos for a little better representation of the Aqua color - a tad more turquoise/greenish hues than the flat lay photos.
Note: This specific run of Aqua run slightly smaller than previous 1950s tee. Double check measurements as you may want to take one up from your usual 1950s tee. Cold wash, hang dry. Length and sleeve will shrink approximately 2" after wash. Other measurements will have about 1" shrinkage after wash, but will stretch back out to original size upon wear.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs. wearing size 6 | L (one up from his regular TTS). Model can also wear 7 | XL for a slightly more relaxed fit; taking into account shrinkage, model would probably go with XL in this Aqua 1950s tee.
Measurement Note: Due to the irregularities characteristic of loopwheelers, there will be slight variations within each size (up to 0.25" variation). Additionally, consistent with how Merz measures their shirts, the Length measurement is taken from the highest point of the shirt (where the neckline and shoulder meet), instead of from the center of the neckline. In general, we do not find the irregularities significant enough to impact the size you should wear.
