Due to the elastic waistband, the waist measurements are provided in a range, with the lower end being the waist measured at rest but with the waist pulled evenly so the front/back align; the upper measurement is when the waist is pulled to easily accommodate a larger waist. The waist can further be pulled but likely will too tight at that point. Hand wash cold, hang dry.
