Iron Heart's popular N1 Deck Jacket makes a debut in a new lightweight Black colorway, shedding the heavy Alpaca wool in lieu of a lightweight Ventile cotton lining, while maintaining its breathability and protection against the elements. Additionally, this 12oz Whipcord shell is sulphur-dyed, resulting in a jacket that will gradually fade and age with wear. The corduroy collar tops off this jacket with a classic contrast appearance, making this an N1 Deck Jacket for the ages.
The Iron Heart IHM-48-BLK Lightweight Whipcord N-1 Deck Jacket takes queues from the original N-1 Deck Jackets produced for the US Navy back in the 1940s, but with notable departures as noted in the details above.

Note: We generally recommend taking your typical American brand size for a comfortable fit with some room to layer underneath. This generally will equate to taking one size down from your typical Iron Heart flannel/shirt size. However, if you want a slim fit and plan to only wear with a t-shirt or light layer underneath, you can take a size down from your typical American brand size. However, if you have a longer torso you may want to double check the length as it may result in a slightly short jacket on the body. For the posted measurements, keep in mind that this is a thicker jacket than usual, so the exterior measurements noted should probably be a little larger than what you are thinking (the lining and whipcord will probably take up about 0.25-0.5" total in width). No shrinkage expected. Machine wash gentle with low (or no) spin, hang-dry.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs. wearing size M for a comfortable fit with room to layer thicker pieces underneath (heavier sweatshirts, Ultra Heavy Flannel, etc.). The Medium fits a bit roomy around the chest and shoulders, and through the arms. However, the length on the body is good. The Model can also size down to S for a slim fit with minimal layering (basically only a t-shirt).
