Merz b. Schwanen's 1950s tee in Storm is new for the Fall/Winter 2020 season. This Storm color has a deeper grey than their Grey Melange variant. Using 100% organic cotton, these shirts feature the standard Merz details - a wider crew neckline and a triangle insert under the armpit for maximum comfort. Made on original loopwheelers in Germany-one of two remaining loopwheeler operations in the world, the result is a seamless tubular fabric that will be your most comfortable tee.
Note: Runs slightly small and due to shrinkage after wash, recommend sizing up one full size (exception is if you intend to wear this as an undergarment or prefer skin-tight fit). Cold wash, hang dry. Length and sleeve will shrink approximately 2" after wash. Other measurements will have about 1" shrinkage after wash, but will stretch back out to original size upon wear.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs. wearing size 7 | XL (two up from his TTS) for a relaxed tee. See other model photos of him wearing size 6 | L, here and here, for a slimmer fitting tee. Expect shrinkage after wash.
Measurement Note: Due to the irregularities characteristic of loopwheelers, there will be slight variations within each size (up to 0.25" variation). Additionally, consistent with how Merz measures their shirts, the Length measurement is taken from the highest point of the shirt (where the neckline and shoulder meet), instead of from the center of the neckline. In general, we do not find the irregularities significant enough to impact the size you should wear.
