Iron Heart's Modified Type III Jacket in Khaki Corduroy uses a 14 wale corduroy fabric for a timeless look in a color that will go with just about every thing you own. We find this jacket to be an excellent layering piece due to its light-to-medium weight feel and how easy it is to move around in.
On the black color, note that the color is more of a off-black or a washed black appearance (may be due to the corduroy sheen), and not a deep black.
Note: Generally runs small, recommend sizing up at least one. Some customers (with longer torsos) may find the jacket too short and thus need to size up an additional size. Sizes are tagged by numbers, with 34 corresponding to XS, 36-S, 38-M, 40-L, and so on. These are once washed so there is minimal shrinkage expected. Cold wash, hang dry.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs (currently closer to 170 lbs) wearing size L for a slim fit, with minimal room for layering. Given that it's a Spring/Fall jacket (not really a dead of winter jacket), model prefers the size L with a light layer underneath. Model can also wear size XL for a slightly more roomy fit that also works just fine.
